619 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From December 19 to December 25 in Erie County, there were 619 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths, and 28 new COVID-19 hospitalizations.

14,880 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

256 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

34 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 25 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,391 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

44,127 or 59.42% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 41,517 or 55.90% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 19,091 people in Erie County have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.
