375 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From December 12 to December 18 in Erie County, there were 375 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths, and 27 new COVID-19 hospitalizations.

14,235 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

254 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

37 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 27 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,363 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

43,967 or 59.20% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 41,374 or 55.71% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 18,138 people in Erie County have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.
