428 new cases of COVID-19, one new COVID-19 death in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From December 5 to December 11 in Erie County, there were 428 new cases of COVID-19, one new COVID-19 death, and 31 new COVID-19 hospitalizations.

13,860 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

252 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

36 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 26 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,337 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

43,755 or 58.92% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 41,109 or 55.35% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 16,611 people in Erie County have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.
