Huron City Schools hires new treasurer
HURON – The Huron Board of Education voted unanimously Monday to hire a new treasurer and CFO.
Mike Limberios will begin his employment with Huron City Schools on January 15, 2024.
“I am grateful for the privilege to join Huron City Schools,” Mr. Limberios said. “I’m excited to contribute to the community and to work with the Board and school leaders as the next Treasurer.”
“Huron is fortunate to welcome Mike as our new treasurer. I feel confident that he is the right person to lead us as we prepare to review our facilities and continue to move our district forward.,” stated Mr. John P. Jones, HCS Board President.
Limberios replaces Paul DeMarco, who served as treasurer from May 2022 to July 2023. In the interim period, Betty Schwiefert has served as interim treasurer.
