Interim Chief recommended to be Perkins Township’s next police chief

SANDUSKY – Perkins Township Police Interim Chief Jeff Musser has been recommended to be the Township’s next police chief.

Musser has served in law enforcement for 27 years, 25 of which have been with the Perkins Township Police Department. He has served as interim chief since the passing of Chief Vince Donald in September 2022.

The Perkins Township Board of Trustees will vote on the recommendation at their meeting on Tuesday, February 28 at 6PM. If approved, a swearing-in ceremony will follow.
