Man charged with felony after allegedly assaulting sister

SANDUSKY – A man was charged with a felony Friday after he allegedly punched his sister multiple times.

According to a report from the Sandusky Police Department, police arrived at a Camp Street house for a domestic. When they arrived, they found a woman with blood all over her face from a laceration located on her head and a right eye was swollen shut with bruising.

The woman, according to the report, claimed that her brother, Deshauntae Lee, got into an argument with her after she spanked her son. She claimed that when she tried to leave the room Lee blocked the doorway and, when she tried to get passed him, began striking her head with his fists. She claimed, according to the report, that he eventually knocked her to the ground and continued to strike her.

The woman was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center for her injuries. According to the report, she had suffered a concussion and had staples placed in her head from a laceration.
