Huron boys finish 2nd, girls finish 4th in Bay Division at SBC swim meet

OAK HARBOR – At the SBC swim meet, the Huron boys finished second to Oak Harbor by four points and the Huron girls finished fifth in the Bay Division.

Junior Granthem Brown broke the SBC Bay Meet records in the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Freestyle. His times were 1:52 and 4:58. He also broke the school record in the 500.

Brown was named the SBC Bay’s Outstanding Performer.

Freshman Carter Schlessman, Junior Jared Lenczyk, Senior Joey Lenczyk, and Granthem Brown won the 200 Free Relay. They finished with a time of 1:37.

Both Joey Lenczyk and Max Wasiniak broke the SBC Bay diving record. Wasiniak finished first with 410 points, and Lenczyk finished second with 401 points.

Sophomore Karlee Kurtz scored the most points for the girls team. She had two individual 3rd Place finishes in the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle.
