Sandusky woman found dead inside house; police searching for killer

SANDUSKY – Sandusky Police are searching for the killer of Trinidy Jones, a young mother who found dead in her home Wednesday.

Lt. Scott Dahlgren of the Sandusky Police Department told Huron Insider in a statement, “Our department responded to a call from a family member of Trinidy’s of an unresponsive female at the residence. Upon arrival Trinidy was found to have suffered multiple injuries. She had two young children in her residence with her also. Two shell casings were recovered by officers at the scene and Trinidy’s body will be transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy will be performed on Trinidy to confirm cause of death.”

Dahlgren added that “detectives are currently investigating and will follow up on any and all information passed along to our department.”
