Huron Tiger boys basketball defeat Margaretta 61-50

HURON – The Huron Tigers boys varsity basketball team defeated the Margaretta Polar Bears 61-50 Friday.

Huron finished ahead at the end of all quarters. The first quarter ended 17-9; the second quarter ended 28-26; and third quarter ended 41-39.

The Huron boys are now 3-0.

Before the game, a moment of silence was taken to remember Laurel Cooley, who was killed in a traffic crash Friday morning. Cooley was very active in the Huron youth community with her non-profit, Everyone’s Mom.
