Wind Advisory issued for Saturday

CLEVELAND – The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Wind Advisory for most of north central Ohio for Saturday from 11AM to 7PM.

Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected for the morning. In the afternoon, winds are expected to move west and increase to 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph in the afternoon.

Widespread showers with a chance of thunderstorms are expected through out the day. The chance of precipitation is 90%.

Temperatures are expected to rise into the lower 60s.

UPDATE: The Wind Advisory has been upgraded to a High Wind Warning. It will be in effect until 6PM Saturday.
