Winter Fest to be held on Saturday, December 4

HURON – The Huron Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Huron Winter Fest on Saturday, December 4.

The event will begin at 12:30PM, with a parade led by the Grinch. The parade will depart from Heatech Plaze at 12:30, then go north on Main Street, left on Wall Street, left on Williams Street, left on Standard Street, left on Main Street, and end at the light.

After the parade, at 1:00PM, more events will take place.

The Grinch will be at Lucky Stone from 1:00PM to 2:30PM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Huron Boat Basin from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Elsa, Anna, and Olaf will be in the Comfort Inn lobby from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Elf on the Shelf storytime will take place from 2:00PM to 5:00PM in the Main Street Gazebo. Captain America will be at Lighthouse Nutrition from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.

Local businesses will also be having specials from 1:00PM to 6:00PM. Market on Main will be at Harbor House, Gathering Grounds, and Lighthouse Nutrition. A hot cocoa bar will be at Gathering Grounds and Old Fish House. A model train will be at Crawford Insurance. Doughin’ Crazy will be at Pier Pub. There will be $1 bowling at Riverview Lanes. There will also be more shopping available at Lucky Stone, When Pigs Fly, Beagle Bay Knot Works, and Road Marketplace.

There will also be a shuttle service from 1:00PM to 6:00PM. The shuttle will have stops at the Boat Basin, Old Fish House, and Lighthouse Nutrition.

Winter Fest will end at 6:00PM with fireworks.
