Huron Tigers swim team finishes second in meet between Clyde and Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR – At the Monday’s swim meet between the Clyde Flyers, Huron Tigers, and Oak Harbor Rockets; both the Huron boys and girls swim teams finished second behind Oak Harbor.

Below are some highlights of the Huron athletes in the meet:

Adalyn Feige, McKenzie Heil, Samantha Lesnak, and Madelyn Porterfield finished second in the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:04.89.

Ridge Roshong, Scott Allen, Nick Rager, and TJ Murray finished second in the Boys 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:08.28.

Granthem Brown finished first in the Boys 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:10.54.

McKenzie Keil finished second in the Girls 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 28:38.

Joey Lenczyk finished second in the Boys 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 25.26.

Max Wasiniak finished first and Joey Lenczyk finished second in the 1 Meter Dive with scores of 248.20 and 221.35.

Kate Seibel finished second in the Girls 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:30.14.

Emily Franks finished second in the Girls 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:06.08.

Carter Schlessman finished second in the Boys 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:00.56.

McKenzie Heil, Emily Franks, Hayden Roshong, and Karlee Kurtz finished second in the Girls 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:56.97.

Carter Schlessman, Grantham Brown, Jared Lenczyk, and Joey Lenczyk finished first in the Boys 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:41.12.

Grantham Brown finished first in the Boys 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:01.12.

Hayden Roshong, Emily Franks, Samantha Lesnak, and Karlee Kurtz finished second in the Girls 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:56.97.

Ridge Roshong, Grantham Brown, Jared Lenczyk, Joey Lenczyk, and Grantham Brown finished second in the Boys 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:49.20.
