295 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From October 17 to October 23 in Erie County, there were 295 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths, and 23 new COVID-19 hospitalizations.

11,527 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

236 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

23 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 20 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,099 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

41,635 or 56.06% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 39,559 or 53.27% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
