257 new cases of COVID-19, 20 new COVID-19 hospitalizations in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From September 3 to October 9 in Erie County, there were 257 new cases of COVID-19 and 20 new COVID-19 hospitalizations.

10,890 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

231 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. There were no new deaths reported in this time period.

25 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 17 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,050 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

41,290 or 55.60% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 39,141 or 52.70% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
