282 new cases of COVID-19, five new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From September 26 to October 2 in Erie County, there were 282 new cases of COVID-19, 29 new COVID-19 hospitalizations, and five new COVID-19 deaths.

10,663 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

231 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

25 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 17 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,030 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

41,075 or 55.31% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 38,848 or 52.31% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
