Huron Tiger cross country boys finish first, girls finish second at Huron Invite

HURON – At Saturday’s Huron Invite, the Huron Tiger cross country boys finished first and the girls finished second in their divisions. Huron runners Elijah Routh and Kennedy Schlessman also finished first in their races.

The Huron boys finished as followed: Elijah Routh (17:04, #1), Pearson Keller (17:57, #5), Tyler Kohlmann (18:18, #8), Jacob Eck (18:25, #10), Ryan Sas (18:52, #12), Nathan Hinners (19:37, #17), Carter Schlessman (19:46, #19), Grantham Brown (19:57, #20), Beren Dennis (20:14, #21), Jake Case (20:15, #22), Thomas Cozzens (20:44, #26), Will Kastor (21:19, #31), Izaiah Polak (21:44, #32), Gabe Schwiefert (21:56, #35), Josh Penwell (22:47, #37), Kirill Turovskiy (22:52, #38), and Dominic Tooman (23:02, #39).

The Huron girls finished as followed: Kennedy Schlessman (19:19, #1), Jadyn Towns (19:50, #3), Lucy Watson (22:59, #13), Sydney Hall (23:03, #15), Allison Blevins (24:26, #21), Addison Fries (24:40, #24), Morgan Shelton (25:57, #32), Julia Jones (26:11, #35), Alyssa Enderle (27:03, #39), Ellee Foster (27:03, #40), Katherine Scherley (27:06, #41), Chloe Pfeiffer (27:11, #42), Denise Sherer (27:20, #44), Blair Poltorek (28:00, #46), Mia Boldman (29:04, #48), and Reagan Fry (30:07, #49).

On the boys side, Perkins finished runner-up to Huron in the gray division, with Huron ahead by two points. Elyria Catholic finished first and St. Mary’s finished second in the boys red division.

On the girls side, Ontario finished first in the gray division, with them being ahead of Huron by three points. Elyria Catholic finished first and Danbury finished second in the girls red division.
