Huron Tiger cross country boys and girls finish third at Seneca East Tiger Classic

ATTICA – Both the Huron Tiger cross country boys and girls teams finished in third place in the orange division races of the Seneca East Tiger Classic. The meet was held on Saturday, August 28 at Seneca East High School in Attica. 19 teams competed in the boys race, and 18 teams competed in the girls race.

The Huron boys finished as followed: Elijah Routh (17:45, #6), Jacob Eck (19:12, #26), Tyler Kohlmann (19:15, #28), Ryan Sas (19:40, #35), Pearson Keller (20:40, #70), Nathan Hinners (20:42, #71), Grantham Brown (20:50, #73), Beren Dennis (21:01, #78), Thomas Cozzens (21:06, #83), Carter Schlessman (21:33, #98), Josh Penwell (22:41, #116), Izaiah Polak (22:48, #119), Will Kastor (22:53, #123), Gabe Schwiefert (23:15, #132), Dominic Tooman (25:15, #162), and Kirill Turovskiy (26:19, #175).

The Huron girls finished as followed: Kennedy Schlessman (19:38, #2), Jadyn Towns (20:47, #8), Lucy Watson (22:50, #27), Samantha Lesnak (22:52, #29), Allison Blevins (24:17, #53), Sydney Hall (24:55, #65), Addison Fries (26:08, #86), Julia Jones (27:26, #105), Ellee Foster (28:10, #117), Morgan Shelton (28:12, #118), Chloe Pfeiffer (29:10, #130), Katherine Scherley (29:38, #135), Mia Boldman (30:16, #143), Blair Poltorek (31:02, #152), and Leah Cozzens (31:21, #160).

This was the Tigers’ first meet of the 2021 season.
