Prayer vigil to be held for Max Soviak

BERLIN HEIGHTS – A prayer vigil will be held on Sunday, August 29 at 6PM for Max Soviak. Soviak, a Berlin Heights native and a 2017 graduate of Edison High School, is among the 13 military personnel killed in the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan Thursday. The vigil will be led by Retired Navy Captain Chaplin Roger Pace. Individuals who come are asked to bring a handheld American flag. The vigil will be livestreamed on the Village of Berlin Heights’ Facebook page.
