William Balduff

William Seymour Balduff, 89, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.

He was born July 11, 1932, in Norwalk, Ohio to Fred and Ruth H (Seymour) Balduff. William was a 1950 Norwalk High School graduate where he participated in both football and track. After high school, William attended Ashland University for one year and then decided to enlist in the United States Navy where he served four years on the USS Boyd DD544 and was later discharged as an EN2 in 1955. His next venture in life took him to the Norwalk office of Capital Finance Corp. for 27 years. After leaving there, he worked for another 15 years at the Citizen National Bank in Norwalk, Ohio where he eventually retired from in 1997. William was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Huron, VFW in Vermilion, and the Tin Can Sailors.

He is survived by his three daughters, Amy Klugh of Centerburgh, OH, Kelly (Chris) Wechter of Huron, and Lori (Jeff) Coop of Toledo, OH; two sons, Keith (Anna) Balduff of Wakeman, OH and Sean (Pamela) Balduff of St. Lois, MO; 14 grandchildren; as well as six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vedah Balduff; his parents; sister, Barbara Ramian; and son-in-law, Robert Klugh.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 120 Ohio St., Huron, from 1pm until time of service at 2:30pm.
