Huron Public Library now offering at home COVID-19 tests

HURON – The Huron Public Library is now offering free Abbot BinaxNOW Home COVID-19 Test Kits.

The tests are offered through a partnership with the Ohio Department of Health. In January, Governor Mike DeWine announced that the state had entered into an agreement to purchase at least two million at-home BinaxNow COVID-19 rapid antigen tests.

To order a test, should call the library at (419) 433-5009. Tests will be picked up by curbside pickup. Tests are not intended to be picked up inside or administered in the library.

Testers must be able to use the NAVICA mobile app, in order to administer the test.

Instructions on how to take the test will be included.
