Erie County EMA now offering notification system

SANDUSKY – Erie County Emergency Management Agency is now giving individuals the ability to receive local alerts via text, e-mail or voice message.

The Erie County Notification System provides participants with emergency notifications, general notifications and alerts. People can choose which kind notifications and alerts they would like to receive. Those options include information about severe weather from the National Weather Service, winter road condition levels, emergency notifications, and community specific messages.

The Erie County EMA is asking that people assist family members or friends who are without internet access with setting up the Erie County Emergency Management Agency. Individuals without internet access can receive the notifications and alerts via phone calls to their landlines.
