City to hold meeting on bike lane

HURON – Huron City Council will hold a public information meeting on the final striping plan for the bike lane on US 6.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 27 at 5:00PM. It will be held at McCormick Junior High School. It will also be live streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.

The final striping plan is similar to the one proposed back in May. One difference between that plan and the current plan is that the current one no longer shows metal poles around most of the bike lane, to prevent vehicles from driving on it.
