City of Huron releases proposed plan for US 6

HURON – The City of Huron has released a proposed striping design plan for US 6. The current stipping, which was completed in late 2020, is only temporary.

One is the main changes that this plan includes is to the bike lane. The proposed plan shows the bike lane being painted green, with white symbols. The green paint will be stripped in areas where vehicles can merge or turn on. It also shows metal poles around most of the bike lane, to prevent vehicles from driving on it.
