Huron City Schools names interim superintendent

HURON – The Huron Board of Education voted, at a special meeting on Friday, to appoint John Ruf as the interim superintendent of Huron City Schools.

Ruf is a Huron resident, former Huron High School Principal, and current Assistant Superintendent of Programs and Personnel at the North Point Educational Service Center. His first day as interim superintendent is Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Ruf replaces Dennis Muratori, who resigned earlier this week.

The district will now begin a search for a permanent superintendent.
