Superintendent Dennis Muratori resigns from Huron City Schools

HURON – At the end of Tuesday’s Huron Board of Education meeting, the board approved a letter of resignation by Superintendent Dennis Muratori.

The letter states that Muratori will be joining Sandusky City Schools, as their chief of staff. Muratori has served as the superintendent of Huron City Schools since 2013.

Muratori’s last day at Huron City Schools will be Thursday, July 1.

The board will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, June 23 at 5:00PM to appoint an interim superintendent.
