Light Up Vermilion moved due to weather

VERMILION – The date of the annual Light Up Vermilion event has been moved due to the forecasted weather conditions.

The date has been changed from December 1st to December 8th. It will continue to be held in Downtown Vermilion and will go from 5pm until 9pm.

At 6pm, Santa will arrive in Exchange Park and join Mayor Jim Forthofer to count down to the Community Tree Lighting. Afterwards, there will be caroling, roasting chestnuts, hot chocolate, photo ops and more throughout the downtown.
