Money donated to restore Huron’s music room following flood

HURON – The Huron High School music program has received some help in recovering from damage it received as a result of flooding from late August’s heavy storms.

During the storms, Huron High School received significant flooding and was closed for two days. One of the rooms that was most significantly damaged was the band room.

After hearing about the damage, Ken Ganley Hyundai in Norwalk wanted to help and, as part of their Random Acts of Kindness program, donated money to help restore the room.

“We are extremely proud to be able to help support our local community,” the car dealership said in a Facebook post.
