Fisher-Titus CFO named among best rural hospital CFOs in country

NORWALK – Becker’s Hospital Review has recognized Fisher-Titus CFO Scott Endsley as one of the best rural hospital CFOs in the country.

The medical industry trade magazine states that “rural hospital CFOs maintain the financial health of their institutions, set strategic plans, secure funding, and keep costs affordable for patients.”

“Historically, rural areas have suffered a lack of access to quality healthcare. Members of rural communities may have to travel long distances, pay exorbitant costs, or face other barriers,” the list states. “Rural hospitals work hard to ease the burden on underserved communities, and CFOs are a crucial part of the equation.”

The list says Endsley “ensures alignment with the organization’s mission and vision while overseeing operational and capital planning, payer reimbursement strategies and fiscal operating reports. On a divisional level, Mr. Endsley sets the strategic plan, organizational structure, and operations for finance departments. Under his leadership, Fisher-Titus received the Syntellis MVP award for innovative use of financial analytic tools.”

Endsley is a native of Norwalk and has been with Fisher-Titus for nearly 20 years.

In a Facebook post congratulating Endsley, the Norwalk hospital wrote, “We are extremely honored to have Scott as our CFO and are proud of him for this recognition.”
