Vermilion names new girls soccer, volleyball coaches
VERMILION – The Vermilion Board of Education has approved the hiring new head coaches for the Vermilion Sailors girls soccer and volleyball programs.
Matt DeCapua will lead the girls soccer program. He was previously the head coach for the Avon Lake and Nordonia boys programs.
Maddie Nader will lead the volleyball program. She is a 2017 Vermilion graduate, a former all-state setter, and a current record holder. She previously served as the varsity assistant for the Sailor’s past three volleyball seasons.
Both will begin their new positions with the 2023 season.
