Elderly Plymouth couple found dead of apparent gunshot wounds

PLYMOUTH – An elderly couple was found dead in their Plymouth home Monday.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers responded to the house a welfare check. Inside the house, they located 82-year-old Jeannette Cobb and 83-year-old Charles Cobb deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Both of the deceased were transported to the Lucas County medical examiner for autopsies.

Police and several other area agencies are currently investigating the deaths. They do believe there is no threat to the public.
