Police attempt to serve arrest warrants on Mississippi murder suspect

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department and several other law enforcement agencies, on Monday morning, attempted to serve arrest warrants on 19-year-old Ronald Buckley at the Ross Park Apartment Complex.

Police, however, were unable to serve Buckley his warrants and believe that he may have left the area.

Buckley is charged with for murder, attempted murder, and felonious assault. According to WDAM, he is the suspect in a shooting in Laurel, Mississippi that left two people dead and one person injured.

Due to the proximity of the operation to Fremont Middle School, Ross High School, and Vanguard-Sentinel Career & Technology Centers, all three schools were temporarily locked down.

Police ask anyone who has seen Buckley or has information on his whereabouts to call the US Marshal Service at 1-877-WANTED-2 or the Fremont Police Department and Sandusky County Regional Dispatch at 419-332-6464.
