Tomas Flores Jr.

Tomas Y. Flores Jr., 81, residing in Elyria, passed away Monday morning, September 26, 2022 at his home following a lengthy illness.

Tomas was born on May 16, 1941 in Carrizo Springs, TX to the late Tomas and Victoria (Iberra) Flores Sr.

Tomas retired from the former Chrysler Auto Plant in Sandusky in 2005 after 39 years of service. He lived for baseball and was a huge Cleveland Indians fan. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Tomas is survived by his wife, Debra (Kudlo) Flores. He is also survived by his children, Marivel Flores of Tiffin, Maria (Dan) Adams of Temperants, MI and Letica (John) Borgen of Burnsville, MN; step-children, William (Gina) Lear of Elyria, John (Tiffany) Lear of Cleveland, Timothy (Cheyenne) Bober of Elyria, Randy (Jenna) Wright of Oak Harbor, Robert (Susan) Wright of Huron and Kathy (Ron) Kaman of Sandusky; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Adolfo (SanJuanita) Flores of Grafton, ND, Armando (Dora) Flores of Buda, TX and Alejandro (Josefina) Flores of Carrizo Springs, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Tomas is preceded in death by his first wife, Paula (Burkhalter) Flores; son, Gerardo Flores; sister, Maria Antonia Garcia and brother, Alfredo Flores.

Friends may call on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, OH.
