Mary Ann Guenther

Mary Ann “Vickie” (Rosnick) Guenther, 86, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday afternoon, August 26, 2022 at The Commons of Providence.

Mary Ann was born on August 28, 1935 in Morris, PA to the late John Samuel Rosnick and Anna Margaret (Trunzer) Rosnick Brewer.

Mary Ann retired as a registered nurse from Bellevue Hospital in 1997 after 32 years of service. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroeville. In her spare time, Mary Ann enjoyed sewing and crocheting, taking walks with friends and family, and was an excellent cook and baker.

Mary Ann is survived by her sons, E. Mark Guenther of Monroeville and Adrian K. (Cindy) Guenther of Bellevue; 2 grandchildren, Alex Guenther of Castalia and Allison (Brandon) Bedell of Bellevue; sisters, E. Jane Martin, Lois Miracle, and Ruth Carlson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is preceded in death by husband, Eberhard “Ebbie” Max Guenther on November 18, 2018, daughter, Krista Allison; sisters, Jessie, Eleanor Bircher and Esther Shaffer; and brothers, William, Merle, Ralph and Charles Rosnick.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
