Multiple boats damaged in marina fire

SANDUSKY – Multiple boats were engulfed in flames during a fire at Son Rise Marina in Sandusky Thursday afternoon.

Photos from the Coast Guard show that two boats suffered significant damage as a result of the fire.

#USCG MSU Toledo responded to pollution threat associated with a multi vessel fire at the Son Rise Marina in Sandusky. The Coast Guard is working with port partners to mitigate environmental impacts & oversee removal of the damaged vessels.
