Vermilion police searching for 14-year-old girl last seen getting into vehicle

VERMILION – The City of Vermilion Police Department is searching for 14-year-old Layce Boyd.

Boyd was reported missing as runaway juvenile on April 23. She was last seen getting into a gold or bronze colored two-door vehicle in that area of Cooper Foster Park Road in Vermilion. Police believe that the vehicle pickup may have been previously arranged.

Boyd was last seen wearing a black zip-up jacket with a light blue shirt, blue jeans, and Nike slides shoes.

Since disappearing, Boyd has blocked her family on social media.

Boyd has family ties to both Vermilion and Oberlin. Police believe that she may also be in the Cleveland metro area.
