Reception to be held before Huron Board of Education votes on hiring new superintendent

HURON – Before the Huron Board of Education votes on hiring Dr. James Tatman as their new superintendent on Monday, a reception will be held to welcome him to Huron City Schools.

The reception will be held on Monday, April 11 from 5:15PM to 5:45PM in Shawnee Elementary School. The district asks that individuals attending use use the Pre K to 1st grade entrance off the parking lot.

Following the reception, at 5:45, the special meeting will be held.

Dr. Tatman currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Olmsted Falls City School district. He previously was a teacher for Huron City Schools. If the board approves his contract, he will start in August.
