One hospitalized after car overturns on Mason Road

MILAN – One individual was hospitalized Friday after a car went off Mason Road and overturned.

According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the car was traveling westbound on East Mason Road in Milan Township, when it attempted to drive out of snow on the edge of the roadway. As a result, according to the report, the vehicle crossed over into the eastbound lane, went off the left side of the roadway, and overturned twice.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old Wakeman man, was transported to Fisher-Titus Medical Center for suspected minor injuries by North Central EMS. He was also cited for failure to control.
