Over 16,000 New Cases of COVID-19 Confirmed in Ohio Over Past Two Days

Since Wednesday in Erie County, 62 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 2,077. Since Monday in Erie County, 13 more people were hospitalized. 43 people are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19 at Firelands. 307 total people have been hospitalized. 415 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.

Since Wednesday in the State of Ohio, 16,459 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 378,082. Thousands of additional cases are pending review. 72 people died from COVID-19. 6,346 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 474 people were also hospitalized.
