Carl Lasky

Carl E. Lasky, 87, passed away peacefully in Avon Lake, Ohio on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

He was born in Euclid, Ohio on March 16, 1934. He graduated from Euclid High School in 1953 and proudly served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. After his service, he had a very successful career in sales and completed 33 years of service at Bryan Equipment Sales.

Carl was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved spending time fishing, woodworking, building things and working around the house. His loving wife, Joan, and he loved to spend time in Minnesota every summer fishing at Cut Foot Sioux Lodge with their children and other family. He was very talented at working with his hands and could operate or repair anything from a Stihl chainsaw to the family boats or vehicles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan M. Lasky, to whom he was married 62 years; his sons, Wm. Scott Lasky and Charlie Lasky (Debbie); his daughter, Carolyn Williams (Todd); grandchildren, Jeremy Lasky (Joni), Heather McDaniel (Tyler), Katie Buxman (Kyle), Alex Muscarella (Soudara), Alyssa Lasky (Marty), Brianne Lasky, Andrew Muscarella, Joey Muscarella and Braden Lasky; and great grandchildren, Caleb Buxman and Elyse Buxman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Lasinski, and his brothers, Theodore Lasky and Ralph Misch.

There will be a private family service at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron, Ohio 44839. He will then be interned at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
