Erie County COVID-19 numbers drop to lowest in months

SANDUSKY – From February 13 to February 19 in Erie County, there were 82 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths, and four new hospitalizations.

20,472 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

309 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

10 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 6 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,701 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

45,397 or 61.13% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 42,899 or 57.76% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 23,802 people in Erie County have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.
