Huron’s divers advance to state

BOWLING GREEN – All three members of the Huron Tigers diving team advanced to state Wednesday.

At the district meet, which was held at Bowling Green State University, Max Wasiniak (left) finished first, Joey Lenczyk (middle) finished second, and Evan Linquist (right) finished fourth.

The OHSAA State Diving Tournament will be held from February 23 to February 26 in Canton.

Last year at state, Lenczyk finished 8th with 871.05 points and Wasiniak finished 9th with 366.70 points. As a team, the two tied for first.
