156 People Die from COVID-19 in Ohio in a Single Day

Since Tuesday in the State of Ohio, 10,319 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 361,623. Today’s numbers includes positive test results that were delayed because of technical issues related to lab reporting. Additional cases are still pending review. 156 people died from COVID-19. This is highest number of single day deaths in Ohio. 6,020 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 417 people were also hospitalized.

Since Tuesday in Erie County, 38 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 2,015. Since Monday in Erie County, 22 more people were hospitalized. 38 people are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19 at Firelands. 294 total people have been hospitalized. 443 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.
