187 new COVID-19 cases, 8 new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

SANDUSKY – From January 30 to February 5 in Erie County, there were 187 new cases of COVID-19, eight new COVID-19 deaths, and 19 new hospitalizations.

20,250 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County.

303 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County.

16 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. 10 of those people are unvaccinated. 1,670 people have now been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Erie County.

45,237 or 60.91% of people in Erie County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 42,650 or 57.43% of people in Erie County have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 23,530 people in Erie County have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.
