Former Huron librarian wins award for mystery book columns

NEW YORK – Former Huron Public Library librarian Lesa Holstine has won an award for her mystery book columns.

Holstine writes Lesa’s Book Critiques. On it, she writes daily posts about mystery books.

She also is a mystery book columnist in the Library Journal.

Holstine was awarded the Mystery Writers of America’s Raven Award, which “recognizes outstanding achievement in the mystery field outside the realm of creative writing.”
