One hospitalized after semi overturns on SR 113
WAKEMAN – One man was hospitalized after a semi overturned on SR 113 in Florence Township Monday afternoon.
According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred when the semi entered the lane of a 1999 Buick Century. When it entered the lane, the semi side swiped the rear driver’s side the Buick. As a result, the semi failed to maintain control and proceeded to strike a guardrail on the north side. It continued past the guardrail and overturned into a ravine.
The driver of the semi, a 57-year-old LaGrange man, was transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain by Citizens Ambulance.
