Huron City Council to vote on keeping Lippert as police chief until end of 2022

HURON – At their Tuesday meeting, Huron City Council is scheduled to vote on a motion that would keep Robert Lippert as Huron’s police chief until December 31, 2022.

Lippert’s current three-year contract is schedule to expire on Tuesday, January 11, which is the same date as the council meeting.

This new contact will give Lippert a salary of $87,755.20, along with benefits.

Lippert was hired as police chief in 2012.
