Woman charged after allegedly assaulting ex-boyfriend

SANDUSKY – Heather Wylie, 42, of Marblehead, was arrested and charged early Thursday morning after she allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend multiple times in their residence.

According to a report from the Erie County’s Sheriff’s Office, Wylie’s ex told deputies that, when he got home from work, Wylie began arguing with him and eventually struck him with a closed fist three times in the face. He was found to have a bruise that had formed under his eye.

The report also states that Wylie, who appeared highly intoxicated, denied to deputies that she struck her ex.

Wylie was charged with Domestic Violence (M1) and Assault (M1). She was transported to the Erie County Jail.
