Joy Miller

Joy R. Miller, 84, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Joy was one of fourteen children born on June 19, 1937 in Wilber, KY to the late Nancy (O’Brien) and John Walker Thompson.

Joy worked at American Crayon and Barr Rubber. She enjoyed traveling, helping neighbors and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Joy is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Dennis W. Miller Sr., and son, Richard Bentley.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery, Sandusky.
