Nathan Waldock named 2021 Trooper of the Year of Norwalk Post

NORWALK – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Nathan Waldock has been selected the 2021 Trooper of the Year at the Norwalk Post.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, fellow officers stationed at Norwalk chose Trooper Waldock, 28, based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Waldock is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award.

During his career, Trooper Waldock has received the Health and Physical Fitness award and the five year safe driving award. He was previously selected as the Norwalk Post Trooper of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Trooper Waldock joined the Highway Patrol in 2015 and has served at the Norwalk Post his entire career. He is originally from Attica and a graduate of Seneca East High School. He resides in Seneca County.
