Ed Enderle sentenced to probation

HURON – Huron Township Trustee Ed Enderle plead no contest Tuesday to Receiving Stolen Property (M1) in Huron Municipal Court and was sentenced to probation.

Enderle was charged in October, after an Erie County sheriff’s deputy found that he had taken multiple political signs that were not his, including those of Eddie Wimmer, who was running against him in the November elelection.

As part of his probation, Enderle will have to pay $600 in probations fees. Court records show that he paid the fee on Tuesday.

In the November election, Enderle lost to Wimmer and Mary K. Schlessman. He had served on the Huron Township Board of Trustees for 24 years.
